The Jim Ivins Band is an up and coming band from Virginia. I got my hands on a copy of their self titled album, The Jim Ivins Band and couldn’t stop listening. The band’s blend of acoustic guitar, rock and even a hint of country makes them a triple threat on the charts. The band’s performance and look makes you feel at home with their music. As a musician and a lover of music, the drumming on this album is amazing. Maybe it was the vocals or the playing but either way it was a pleasure listening to the whole album.
